... 10 months old ...



Milestones & Memories:

• Have made several attempts at "almost" standing alone
• Playing with your tongue: turning it side ways, sticking it out, making lots of fun popping noises with it, licking your lips
• Love a mirror
• Weigh about 20 lbs.
  
• Moved from NC to visit in WV and PA then to Virginia
• Got two more teeth on the top (outside instead of top middle- its funny, but still cute)
• Started to really explore more table foods: cheese, ritz crackers, graham crackers, peaches, plums, bananas and lots more
• Even starting to get better at feeding yourself some of the finger foods
• Got Hand, Foot, & Mouth disease (good thing is you are now immune to it :)
• Swinging in an infant swing on the playground- you have a blast!
• Taking baths in a big boy bath with all of your toys to play with
  
• Giggling lots
• Started really sleeping through the night (Hooray!)

Our Dear Son, Levi Elliot~

Mama & Papa have been so proud of how you have adapted to life
around you during this crazy month.
We have fallen deeper in love with you in every little way.
We are praying this month that God would weave humility into
the core of who you are.
That you would delight in serving others before yourself,
and ultimately that you would serve our most precious King.

One day while we were in Pennsylvania we decided to take a day trip over to Cleveland Ohio to visit my best friend, Leah, and her precious baby girl, Olivia Joy.
The two hour trip felt like a breeze after the many hours we had already logged in the car :)

The first thing Levi did when he met her was climb up on her bouncer and bend over to suck on her toe!!! I know, I know... endearing right?
Well I assumed the best and took it as his interpretation of Jesus' command to wash each others feet-
They were a fun pair for sure.

I was so excited Levi (and I) got to meet Livie and spend more time with Aunt Leah
In college we would always talk about life when we would be married and then with kids...
Finally those days have arrived and we absolutely love it still!
I know I am always grateful for time spent with Leah, my Kindred Spirit
It is so good for my heart every time
