Well looky at what I stumbled upon when I went to check on someone who had been napping:

Between him constantly walking around saying "BOOOOO(K)" and moments like these,
I would say this little boy loves his books :)

:: Dinner & DJ ::

One night at Goa, we ate at a beach side restaurant with some great friends:

Which worked out quite well- we got to eat a seafood dinner & had free babysitting :)
(Ok- just kidding)
Levi's fan club just keeps growing though- our waiter took him over to the DJ, who thought he would show Levi the ropes.
So here are some pics of them rocking out together:

For those who were worried about our Retreat/Beach Trip

Have no fear...

We may have shared the beach with the cows,
but we enjoyed escaping to this beautiful resort during that time-

We were pretty busy with meetings most of the time- but did get to go out to eat with some good friends in the evenings. We ate some delicious steak (shhh- dont' tell!)
We even had a date night where they watched the kiddos for us.
(So Levi enjoyed an evening with friends and PIZZA.... I don't think he missed us too much)

Memories & Milestones for Month 16, 17, & 18:

• Giving "Five"
• Teeth, teeth, and more teeth... We are up to 12 now!
• Always turn your cars in the "right" direction when you are pushing them- so smart.
• A Climber to the core- beds, couches, chairs, stroller, steps, trunks, and the list keeps growing... if it's there, you are bound to give it a try :)
• Babbling all the time, getting better at repeating words when asked, and you have added a few new words to your vocabulary: Book, Truck, Doggie, Papaa(w/ an adorable Italian accent), Ma-MEE, No-no-no
• Lots of new Bumps, Bangs & Bruises
  
• Starting to catch yourself with your hands when you fall- Whew!
• Began turning around sweetly and looking for a hand to hold when you go near steps.
• Favorite playing position: on your belly, pushing your cars
• (3/12) Ate your first PB &J (Loved it!)
• Figuring out puzzles on your own, and making "matches"
• (3/1) First trip to Goa & first time swimming in the Indian Ocean
• (3/16) First trip to Nepal
• Exhibiting a little temper-temper... usually followed by a tantrum- oh boy!
• Lifting up your left leg, slamming your foot back down and saying "BOOM"- just for fun.
• Favorite books:Brown Bear Brown Bear, Hiccupotamus, 5 Little Monkeys Sitting in a Tree
• Favorite Movie: Cars 2
  
• Solid interactive play: pushing tractor back & forth w/ mama, & repeating animal noises with your toy puppy, Scout.
• (4/6) Fed yourself with a spoon for the first time (and did a great job!)
• Fist pump + "Yay, Yay, Yay" when you are excited
• Always cracking up- whether you are with us, other kiddos, or all by yourself- so fun.
  

Our dear son... Levi Elliot,
Mama & Papa adore you more and more with every day that passes. We love teaching you, reading to you, playing with you, laughing with you, going for walks with you, and yes- sometimes we even get the opportunity of correcting you (not our favorite part).
We love watching you grow and are amazed at how fast you are doing so- we are soaking in these moments with you as often as we can, taking none for granted.

We pray that in the coming months the Lord would already begin to shape your sweet little spirit, and would plant deep within you a desire for honesty & integrity. (Psalm 25:21) That these attributes would be ones that you exhibit as you grow, and ones that you cherish as you build friendships.

As always- we are so proud of all of your accomplishments and the way you love so abundantly.

(I am thinking it was a tad BIG ~ however, it was compliments of this nice young Indian boy who wanted to buy it for Levi... But I think next time we will try a little smaller. )

Trying to BEAT the HEAT

Well there was no avoiding it, the heat has ARRIVED in South Asia.

So we had to get a little creative to find ways to "cool off" in the heat of the day:

A little tub + water + a swimmy diaper (which really that can even be optional, right? ;)
= FUN FUN FUN!

This was so good to help him get over his fear of water being in his face.
