Fall Family Fun in our Flannels :)

 Everyone got dressed, then loaded up in the van...

 

Some snoozed on the way :)

Then we made it to one of the national forests in WV, and it was a beautiful day for it!

Rested & rockin' out like a Diva

 

We checked out the slides, the creek, the crawdads, the trails... and enjoyed breathing in that mountain fresh air. 

Ahhhhhh.

At the end of the day, the playground was the choice of these two little ones- so back to the playground we went:

 The "twisty slide" was his favorite

 He's so fun!

 This girl LOVED the swings

 A little runnin'

 A little explorin'

 A little climbin'

 A recipe for a GOOD time :)

 And we ended that day on a sweet little hug at the end of the slide :)

Treasuring these memories and moments in my heart.

Partying in the U.S.A.- Just the Beginning :)

Well October 7th, we boarded our plane and left South Asia.

Over 26 hours later, we landed in the beautiful state of WV.

And here is a little glimpse of the fun we have been having:

Manicures and pedicures with Aunt JoJo

(Her 1st manicure EVER!)

FALL FESTIVAL

Ginormous Bouncy Slides!!!!

 

 Someone got a TAD excited and forgot to wait for his cousin, Tate, before flying down the first time. hahahaha.

 

 But then we re-grouped and did much better the second go round:

 i think it's safe to say, this was one of his FAVORITES!

Riley and her cousin, Zane,  just got to watch from a distance.

Poor littles :)

 Craig's momma was quite happy to have both of her kids and all of her grandkids together:

We almost missed Aunt JoJo in our "girls picture" while she was grabbing us some cotton candy 

So we did a re-take:

The night just got better...

FIREWORKS!

So the boys got cozy in Grammy's van.

Of course she came ready- blankets, snacks, drinks, napkins... she had it all- and they loved it!

 

So the rest of us piled in the back of our van to wait for the moment of much anticipation....

Hooray!!!

 

Riley clung as tight as she could to me,

meanwhile Levi was giggling out of control the E.N.T.I.R.E. time.

It was hilarious!!!

Then along came the day we had been waiting for ~ October 12th...

When Levi turned FOUR years old :)

We celebrated with WV family and friends at a super fun bouncy house place- 

He was thrilled :)

 

 He met some new friends as well as re-united with old friends who had traveled all the way to our "home far away" 

(as Levi has been calling it ;))

The only bummer was that Levi's cousin Tate wasn't feeling well that day :(

So we have to re-schedule another play date at the jumpy place- noooo problem!

Another one of our FAVORITES is our backyard!!!

Green grass, open running area, fresh air~ Amazing.

Levi calls it the "mountain"

We've enjoyed several climbs up the mountain,

and even discovered a perfect little "play area" tucked in at the top:

 This week Papa took the bike up the mountain for Levi to ride around at the top.

(not DOWN the hill.. Relax y'all ;))

We've LOVED having Grammy around!!!

One of my favorites... 

Teaching Levi about these fun flowers:

 He (and Riley) think they are the best, and go searching for the "white flowers" anytime we are outside...

Well Riley blows on any flower she finds now. haha.

Tomorrow we head on the road to see my family in PA...
