Soccer Boys

Craig played his last soccer game with the Triangle Adult Soccer League
a few weeks ago.



Levi & I went out to support Papa in his final endeavor:
Sad News: The other team didn't show up
Good News: Craig ended on a WIN :)

The Last Saturday in April
The Summit Church held it's Parent Commissioning
So Craig & I were officially commissioned as "parents"~ haha.

We are thrilled to embrace the opportunity
to love, pray for, disciple, and grow Levi in the Lord.



In our prayer for God to extend His grace to Levi, we also pray for God's grace to cover us as we know that even at our best, we will still fall short in many areas.
We pray that He guide us as parents with His wisdom, to covers our blunders with His Love, and to teach us to live out the Gospel with integrity in our every day life.
As they say, "more is caught than taught".

We are so grateful for our parents, family, friends, & small group who support us in this journey

Our "Big" Little Guy is 7 MONTHS OLD

Did you say PRUNES ???

We have started Levi on solids this month,
and have quickly discovered that he is NOT a fan of anything but milk....
(Easy now-I know what you're thinking... It's hard to believe by looking at him- but it's true)

Well we finished up the last bit of sweet potatoes and it was time to try something else
So PRUNES it was.
To be honest, I was almost positive that he would hate them more than anything else he had tried...
Well to my surprise this was the face I got:

And he ate them like a CHAMP!
??? Who knew ???
PRUNES.

* Mother's Day *

This year Mother's Day took on a whole new dynamic in my life....
It's funny because I rarely remember life without this little guy.
One thing is for sure- I am having a blast being a mama~
Wouldn't trade it for the world!

My boys were especially sweet to me, and I am grateful for each of them.
Levi greeted me with his cute smiles all day and cuddled next to me for a nap in the afternoon
Craig & Levi got me a card, sweets, an I-Tunes gift card, AND cooked dinner!
And Gideon.... well you can see below:

Fun story:
After we got home from church, Gideon hopped on his bike and took off and we weren't sure if he had gone to the park or what...
well it turns out he rode his bike to the store to get me a Mother's Day card ~

And he put this sweet note inside (above) that said:
"Thanks for putting up with me,
Hot Dinners,
Push Me hard to do my school work
and Thanks for Levi. lol.
Have a wonderful Mother's day Mum"

Needless to say- I absolutely had a WONDERFUL 1st Mother's Day!
Thanks for all of the sweet wishes.

And being a Mom really makes me appreciate my mother, step-mother, and mother-in-law all the more~ Happy Mother's Day y'all :)

..::Meet in the Street::..

On Saturday, Wake Forest hosted its annual "Meet in the Street"
They close down main street and set up tents with all kinds of vendors, have performances from different dance groups, and a variety of musicians perform.

Craig, Emma, Gideon, Levi and I walked down from our house, grabbed some lunch there,
and enjoyed some free entertainment.

We thought it would be fun to take Levi's picture with the fire truck :)

The weather was great & we all loved getting outside!

*Duke Gardens*

Last Friday night we decided to take Craig's mom to visit Duke Gardens
while she was visiting over her spring break.
The flowers were in bloom and everything was beautiful!
