9 Months Old
Memories & Milestones:
Oh what a treasure you are, my love.
As this blog so easily exemplifies, life is busy, fun, crazy, exciting, on the go, full.... and so mommy doesn't get around to posting these precious things about you as quickly as she would like.
And as much as I wish I could be more on top of it, I know that reality is just different for me right now with you three wonderful littles.
The beautiful thing about it is, that through it all, in having an older brother and sister- humility is being woven into your very being.
You are naturally learning to put others before yourself, to wait and know that your turn will surely come.
And I love it. God is working and weaving your life together so perfectly in His hands.
We continue to pray that humility be at the very core of who you are. That you delight in putting others before yourself, just as our Savior did.
And above all else, that you will find your true satisfaction, joy, and approval in Him.
Meanwhile, we hope that it is beyond clear to you that we are OVERJOYED and FILLED WITH DELIGHT that you are our little boy.
Each and every one of us could not imagine life without your precious never ending smile.
It's an honor to watch you grow and serve you sweet boy of mine.

MONTH 9 (April 6- May 6):
- tried yogurt drops for the first time. Entertaining faces followed.
- getting up on your hands and feet (not knees) and it cracks us up!
- waving your hand and bouncy to dance along to music. So precious.
- first big sick day. Lots of throwing up. Sad and scary but you quickly recovered.
- rocking on your hands and knees. Maybe you will for real crawl instead of army crawl. :)
- yep, crawl crawl crawl
-
better yet, you are not wasting any time- you are pulling up onto
EVERYTHiNG and cruising along it all. Couches, tables, chairs, mommy,
Riley and Levi. You even cross back and forth from couch to table and
back. You're fearless. A few bonks but it hasn't slowed you down.
- you've even made your first attempts at steps. Made it up one before we caught you. Slow down little guy!!!
- this also means you grab at everything too. Oh what fun, right? ;)
- not so fun regular: you bite soooo hard into everything with those sharp two bottom teeth. Youch!!!!'
- you've started to babble more. Even shout sometimes and it's hilarious.
- we've noticed you bounce at your knees when music is on. First little dance moves. Love it.
- papa thinks you also love Mickey Mouse clubhouse like your sister. You get excited when it comes on.
- you're a lover of being outside. It just brings calm to your heart almost every time.
- still an ok eater and ok sleeper. ;)
- rejecting your pacifier
- social butterfly. So sweet to all. :)
- first trip to the play place at the mall. You played so well inside for your first time. Woo hoo. 5/3
- climbed all the way up the stairs all by yourself. Wow. You are not slowing down.
Our sweet sweet baby boy, Malachi Reed~Oh what a treasure you are, my love.
