Lovely Day for Lounging

One of the best things about where we just moved is we have been able to put our stroller back to use and Levi LOVES it :)

Occasionally, when it is just sitting on our patio, he will just want to sit in it and chill
(as you can see)

Happy as can be!

Kicked back & Content:

The stroller has also come in quite handy in several other ways:
1) It holds my laundry and I drag it along side of me as I hang the clothes on the line.
2.) It also is my "folding" table as I fold the dry clean clothes
3.) Levi enjoys just pushing it around sometimes
4.) Levi thinks it is wonderful for lounging and for walks around our new home.
5.) I hope to soon be able to take Levi out for runs in it like the old days (I have been trying a good place to run with him & it... and I may have just found a little loop- YAY!)

Multi-functional is always BEST!

The BED HEAD Challenge!

"Ok- this goes out to all of my cousins and grandpa's (or anyone else who is up for the challenge)....
If you think that you have some wild BED HEAD- I think I have just raised the bar!
What do you think?"
:)
- Levi

"I had just woke up from a fantastic nap and just decided to start playing with my trucks in my room instead of letting mama and papa know that I was awake.
That was until..... Mama busted in my room and started taking all of these pictures for some reason ;) "

(There were too many good angles so I included them ALL for your enjoyment!)

"Ok ok ok mama- that's enough pictures for today"

"So anyone think they can do better? "
Please send photos if the answer is yes- we always LOVE a good laugh :)

Hope you had a chuckle or two!

:: Fans for Life ::

We may not be in West Virginia anymore, but our loyalty still lies there :)

LET's GOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS!

As you can see, Levi's new friend is a Clemson fan,
SO we are teaching him to be a great fan but also a good sport :)

Come on- SING with me:

Almost heaven, West Virginia,
Blue Ridge Mountain, Shanandoa River,
Life is old there, older than the trees,
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze

Country Roads, take me home
To the place I belong,
West Virginia,
Mountain mamma,take me home
Country roads

All my memories, gather round her
Modest lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye

Country Roads, take me home
To the place I belong,
West Virginia,
Mountain Mamma, take me home
To the country roads

I hear her voice in the morning hour she calls me
Radio reminds me of my home far away
Driving down the road I get a feeling
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday

Country Roads, take me home
To the place I belong,
West Virginia,
Mountain Mamma, take me home
Country roads

Country Roads, take me home
To the place I belong,
West Virginia,
Mountain Mamma, take me home
To the country roads

Take me home, that country road
Take me home, that country road

. GHANDI Museum .

On our way home from traveling over the break,
we got to meet up with some friends from North Carolina who were passing through.

We did checked out some pretty interesting sites-
Our first day we visited the GHANDI Museum

Levi continued being the little "star" that he is around here- and these folks just ate him up.
They even called him "Little Tom Cruise"- hahaha!

Ornery but cute as can be!

Levi taking a walk with our friend "J"

Levi's first "shoulder ride"-
Thanks "Pak"

This place was really incredible to walk through and read all about Ghandi's life & his last day.

We were told that the "Ghandi" movie was pretty awesome-
Have you seen it? What did you think?
We just found someone who has a copy of it, so we hope to watch it sometime in the coming days-

:: Favorite playing position ::

Levi loves laying on his belly and pushing his cars around- on a bed, on the carpet, outside... WHEREVER!
It is so stinking cute :)

Such a BOY & we LOVE it.

... Climbing the "Hill" to the "Castle" ....

(Catch Up Time)

During our Christmas travels ,we met up with some friends here in South Asia-
and we decided to go hiking one day.

Their kiddos called it "Climbing the 'Hill'"- and at the top there was an old fort which they lovingly referred to as the "castle"- so fun!

It was a beautiful day with perfect weather- not too hot and not too cold.

Along the way, they were doing some work on the pathway so we ran into some of these ladies.
The crazy part is that the men will work the machinery, etc... but these women (in their sarees- please notice) will fill these pans up with dirt and hall it (on their head & with kids in tow) down the hill to wherever "fill" was needed.
Pretty amazing!

We also saw these two little guys just hanging out-
probably from the neighborhood village at the bottom of the hill.
Their facial expressions are priceless :)

I love spending time outside with these two!
Watching them walk hand in hand melts my heart.

WE MADE IT!
Here is the "castle"

It was really neat-
it's a pretty large abandoned building overlooking so much of the city,
a wide open cleared area in front (where the kids had a blast playing),
and lots of little paths behind the building that you could go exploring on.

Levi was in the carrier for the hike up, so he was in his glory running "free" on top of the "Hill"

LEVI: "I found something for you!"
Me: "What is it this time?- A raisin? a bug? a rabbit dropping?!?!? "
- No worries, this one is just a rock.

(However... As we went exploring around the castle, I watched Levi bend over to pick something up... as I got a little closer to analyze the situation ... Oh yes, sure enough it was a little round rabbit poo! YUCK!!!
Thank the Lord for some hand sanitizer :))

More stories to come....

Thanks for making the climb with us!
If you have time- Please pray today for these women who work hard day in and day out- that the Lord would draw their hearts to Him and that they would in turn teach the LOVE of Christ to these children...
A love that is more powerful than any adversity they could ever face.
