.27 years.

The last year was, by far, one of the most memorable.
You became a father to our son who adores you.
We grew one year deeper in our marriage, and every day is still so much fun being your wife.
You have have made a lasting impression on a young man, Gideon, and I have loved every minute of watching this.
We have packed up a house, moved a couple times, said some sad good-byes, and made some new friends along the way.
And I've watched you grow as a leader both inside and outside our home.
I look forward to what this next year has in store, as God leads our family in India.

Today we celebrate you, Love.

Fall Days & Flannel Shirts

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL !

.Rock Climbing Debut.

Our Little Rock Climber

When we journeyed to the James River we also discovered a rock climbing area
so we ventured back there one Sunday to get one last go at it before we leave.
(It had been over a year since Craig or I got on a rock ~ it was sooo good to be back!)



My Dad always jokes about Levi being a rock climber since we love it so much,
so I was thrilled to capture Levi's first encounter on the rock for him.
He was a natural- spotting a great hold and reaching out to grip onto it (see photo below).
His face just lit up out there ~ we are so proud of our little man.



We love these precious moments with our boy and as a family

B-I-B-L-E

Well instead of saying his first word- Levi is working on spelling it instead :)
He learned this in his class and loves to sing and clap to this song ALL the time.



We love it... and so does he!

Jumpin' in my Jammies

We always have a good time playing in our pajamas before bed- Fun PJs are the best!



I love that they say "I'm Ticklish" and have "Hehe and Haha" all over them.
We always squeeze in an extra tickle session on nights when Levi has these on!

WV Weekend

The first weekend in September- the WV crew headed our way.
Grammy, Aunt Jodi, Uncle Eric, and Cousin Tate came to visit



Memories were made~ as always.

Tate loved showing off his reading skills and laughing at his Uncle Craig tell stories
(especially with Pakistani Bill in the background-
we giggled at that for about, oh let's see... 30 minutes- haha)

Levi was thrilled to have Grammy around to read to him, play with him, love on him, push cars with him (and I think she was equally as excited)
Levi & Tate playing together is always a hoot

We discovered that Levi is terrified of cars running straight for him
(aren't we all :)- check out his reaction though:
HILARIOUS!

We hung out, gave them a tour of campus, went shopping, played some games, laughed at many shared stories, and Craig almost falling out of his chair, and that's as far as we'll go down memory lane...

We laughed so hard and so much that I counted our laughter as my 20 minute fitness activity for the day!

We ended our visit by watching the first half of the WVU vs. Marshall game while eating wings
Yep~ it was a great way to end a wonderful weekend!
