Running with Papa

We captured Levi having a blast running with his Papa:



So he loves to manipulate things with his feet- but clearly he already loves running too!
It has become one of his favorites
You can always get a smile or giggle out of him every time you run with him:)

A Note From Levi...

Dear Nana, Pappy, Grandpa Dan, Grandma Freddie, Grammy and Grandpa Dale,

How are you? I was thinking about you today and just wanted to write you a note to let you know that I'm doing great!

I am making new friends in my class,
learning to eat more solid foods like crackers, bananas, cheese, and other fun things,
Sleeping through the night (So far 3 nights since we have been here)
Taking baths like a big boy with my bath toys all around me where I can sit and play
Swinging in the swing with the other big (and little) kids after dinner
Making fun clicking noises with my tongue
Well... you get the picture- I'm having a blast.

Of course I miss you a lot... Momma and Papa have told me that you all have missed me too.
I like that :)

I can't wait to see you again soon.

Family Night @ Amanda's (My Sisters)

Once we arrived in Pennsylvania at my oldest sister, Amanda's, house
we rallied the troops to come on over and hang out.
Levi's
Nana & Pappy,
Aunt Caitlin and Aunt Bridget,
Uncle Ben and Aunt Deb along with cousin Jacob and cousin Ethan
and Uncle Jarod all came over and we had a blast: playing corn hole, jumping on the trampoline, swimming in the pool, playing volleyball, and just catching up on life

And of course Levi's little buddy, Ethan, was ever so eager to see him once again

Down on Kilgore Creek

Kilgore Creek is a place that Craig has loved going to ever since he was a little boy...
A place better known as "Mama's house"

Craig loves to spend his days hanging out with Mama (and we love to join him)
Things you will find him doing:
- Swinging with Mama and chatting about life
- Mowing the yard
- Working in the garden
- Hunting on "the hill"

Craig decided one day to bring Levi along for a ride on the mower
WHEW he was tuckered out by the end :)

We spent the fourth of July with Mama & Craig's family out on Kilgore Creek
Here are some snippets of Levi's 1st fourth of July:

We literally were in Kilgore Creek by the end of the night...
Grammy & I took Levi down to throw some rocks in the water and I decided to just go ahead and let Levi put his feet in and play
(We found some crawdads/crayfish in the process- brought back fun childhood memories:)



Being out on Kilgore is always refreshing and freeing for the mind and soul



As we go overseas, we will surely miss those moments of sitting on the swing talking to Mama, hearing the sounds of the country air & its calming silence, eating garden fresh crops, catching lightning bugs, and the list could go on.
