..... October 12, 2015 .....
Levi Elliot
Our very first child and little boy came into our lives 5 years ago.
So we celebrated this milestone year with lots of fun!!!
We had a "family" celebration at home:
We drug our guests to the roof for some fun games.
Red Team vs. Green Team
Hooray- Red Team Won!!!
Then we came inside for more fun...
Monster Truck Bowling:
Look at those jumping skills & the excitement :)
Fun Times with Fun Peeps:
After enjoying some pizza, Levi sat and stared at his cake and waited...
and waited...
and waited some more...
Then the moment FINALLY came-
Light those candles, Mama:
This face says it all:
So precious
(Thanks Emily for capturing this moment!)
Now blow those candles out buddy!
So thankful for all of our awesome friends who came, celebrated, showered Levi with gifts, and just made his day extra special!
His "Spiderman" face:
We are especially thankful for all the LITTLE friends who could join us this year :)
Extremely thankful for this guy who makes our kids feel so loved and adored:
Happy Birthday Levi!
Milestones from this past year:
- Enjoyed time in America with family
- Started school (Jr. KG) and are doing great!
- Got to be a big brother again.
- Really enjoy playing and reading books too
(You will even sit and flip through books on your own)
- Started singing along to songs... aka you know the lyrics, Yikes! haha.
- Learned all of your alphabet and it's sounds
- Slowly starting to read words. So proud of you!
- Can write your own name (and all of ours too!)
- Discovered and thoroughly enjoy playing Mario on the Wii
- Love being active: running, playing tag, hide and seek, riding your bike or scooter, etc...
- And I'm sure MUCH more than Mommy can even remember right now :)
Since this was his first year in school, we decided to throw a party on the evening of his actual birthday at Pizza Hut and invite his classmates & other little friends.
Pizza Hut Party:
I actually made my first ever eggless cupcakes :)
So thankful for these two ladies: Pooja Ma'am and Priyanka Ma'am.
Not only were they incredibly helpful at the party-
They are truly an answer to prayer and are the PERFECT teachers for Levi this year:
These guys were also amazing help & we couldn't have done it without them:
I think Levi felt thoroughly celebrated this year!
(Whew... now to rest up until next year. haha)
Our Dearest Little Levi-
Happy Birthday Buddy.
Thank you for the many ways you have made life fun and filled with JOY and laughter.
Mama & Papa are so proud of the way you have grown in so many ways over the past year.
We are so proud of who you are becoming and pray often that the Lord would continue to mold you and shape you into the image of His son, Jesus.
There are SO many things that we love about you, but just to name a few:
You are...
kind,
thoughtful,
compassionate,
a giggle box,
an Awesome big brother,
tender hearted,
athletic,
a music lover,
a great dancer,
a fast runner,
creative,
filled with such imagination,
and so much MORE.
We love you more than we could ever tell you or show you.
